The figure of the musician in cinema - Part 2
Full Issue
Abstract
Since its birth, cinema has been intimately linked to another art form, music, which, since pianists (or even organists) have left the darkened rooms, has often been an integral part of the film's diegesis. Music of the pit and music of the screen have already been the subject of numerous in-depth studies; this is why the dossiers in issues 15 and 16 of Savoirs en Prisme wish to focus more specifically on the figure of the musician, who populates multiple cinematographies.
