« La mémoire du contraire » : les rhétoriques du changement normatif et procédural dans le sud-ouest du royaume de France, 1451-1475
Abstract
At the military conquest of Guyenne, the sovereignty of Valois began its legal and normative implantation. However, from 1452, law inherited the English crown remain strong. A major conflict in results: local political actors arguing alternately the French or English traditions of government. The archives reflected then a lot of speeches based on the « opposite memories” as a rhetorical emergence which reported its exact reverse. Ultimately, this rhetoric favoured the implantation of « stille » of France and hence the resolution of the conflict of norms.
