Desacralización, transfiguración y juegos intertextuales en el teatro argentino y chileno recientes
Abstract
In a corpus of Argentine and Chilean works based on a review of 19th or 20th centuries history, we examine how temporal distortions and intertextual games do not express a rewriting of a known history, but rather a re-signification of events and their interpretation. We question the relevance of the concepts of melodrama and tragedy in the desacralization of events and of canonical texts.
